Thank you APW for reminding me that Radiohead is the greatest band that ever lived

Me and "the SARAHSPY entourage" intended to arrive at Liberty State Park for Saturday's All Points West in time for Chromeo's set, but that didn't end up happening. Oh well. Here is what we did see:

Metric was better than I thought they'd be. I'm generally bored by their recorded stuff-- but watching them live, I thought, "OH okay, I get it now." My friend Matt spent their set listing specific reasons why he approved of Emily Haines's metallic outfit. You'd be surprised how many different reasons there were.

I was surprised, actually, by how similar Radiohead's Friday & Saturday sets were. Not that I'm complaining-- both nights I had the time of my life. I just figure they've got a library of like, 600 songs to choose from & thought they'd switch it up a little more for those attending both shows. (See Brooklyn Vegan for photos & setlists from Night 1 and Night 2.)

Anyway, it felt right to spend my Sunday morning re-living the magic via YouTube. I'm digging what pamelasam uploaded because the sound quality is good & her vantage point was the same as my own (I secured the same sweet spot both nights).

All I Need:

Paranoid Android:

Street Spirit (Fade Out):
